At the beginning it was difficult to open the Salon, as always when you start a new project, but step by step they achieved their objective. Not only was this difficult, they had to work hard to get all the products also. “But once you have everythingl already set up, it is easy to buy all the stuff that you need to carry on with your challenge”.

- Who is your typical customer in the Salon?

We have clients from all the countries but the majority are Irish people who come to the Salon because we have the specialty in Hair Extensions.  Some time ago the extensions were for rich people who have money to spend in the hairdressers and now we can offer very good prices and they are quite happy because they have access to change their look at a good price..  

- How do Hair Extensions work?

One hour and a half and you will have you hair completely “weaving type”. This method doesn’t damage your hair and the result is very discrete. After that you can add more hair or change the colour.

- Any trick? We are working with 100% human hair, also available in all lengths and colours. That is way the hair extension seems so natural. You can change your colour and length without damaging your hair.

- With all the hair dressers that exist in Cork how do you manage with the competition?

Yes, it is true! Only in our street there are 15 salons. But the competition isn’t really important because we are doing something different and unique. And every time we have the chance we go to the Conference and Workshops to keep up with the latest hair fashion.

-So, are you happy running your own business?

Sometimes it is difficult because you have more responsibilities and duties but we really enjoy it.
