Eastern European Association of Ireland - organization of creators!
Creating Ireland of the future!

Some people like the constant way of living and stay away from something new and unknown, but some are thinking about changes that are for better life. The Eastern European Association of Ireland(EEAI) was established in February 2004 as a National Non Profit Association. EEAI is an NGO organised by immigrants in Ireland for the purpose of promoting and developing Eastern European and Irish culture and traditions. Those among the organisation include: artists, journalists, engineers, doctors, lawyers, labours, all who are interesting in development of culture, national cultural heritage and languages through exchange and dialogue with others. These people with vastly different backgrounds and life experiences make this particular organization lively. At the moment membership of the EEAI is 478 members from all over Ireland and it’s growing rapidly. The EEAI provides seminars and lectures about the cultural and social life of Eastern European countries for local organizations as well as information support for its members and all who need or want to learn about Irish cultural traditions or other issues. The EEAI also runs exhibitions, multicultural art projects, interpretation services, English language classes etc. This group of volunteers hope to create a positive Ireland of the future by helping people of local and immigrant communities to get to know another better.  For more information please contact EEAI by e-mail.: eeai@eircom.net or see website www.easterneuropean.org
