Now, you can in the Vision Centre.
During the years 1788-1884 the Vision Centre was called St. Peter’s Church. The church fell into disrepair later after much reconstruction reopened the old church as the Vision Centre.
Founded in 1990, Cork Civic Trust is a not-for-profit voluntary organization that draws its support from Cork City Council and the private sector. The aims of the Trust are to preserve and enhance the civic and architectural heritage of Cork, to raise public awareness of heritage issues and to encourage cultural and urban tourism through its management of the Cork Vision Centre at St Peter's.
This is another example that Ireland is a country full of opportunities for everybody. If you feel like an artist and you have any picture, sculpture or photography and you want to exhibit, you can try.
Carol Morrissey, the receptionist of Vision Centre, told to us what should to do for apply. First of all, you have to submit a proposal and give your CV. Then, their will study your application and maybe you will have the possibility to exhibit your work and if you want sell your works.
Enlargement! Is a continuously changing exhibition, displaying the artistic qualities of the new states of the expanded EU.
The Vision Centre caters for tourists and local people. The entry is free and their timetable is from Thursday to Saturday 10:00 to 17:00.

Every month they organize an Arts, Craft & Design Market. This market is only for people who make things with their hands: Jewelry, ceramics, lamps, knitwear, mirrors, mixed media and more…
Sonia Gomez, is from Spain, and for 2 months she has been exhibiting and selling her works in the market. She contacted Celina and she paid 20 euros to have a space for her jewelry, fans craft, and other works.
If you want to know which days this exhibition takes place you should to look the ads in the bus station, English Market, Post office, tourist office and municipal library.
